Excel function ASIN returns the arcsine of a number (in radius). The arcsine is a inversed sine. In this function we have to type numbers between (-1) and 1. Let’s have a look at the example below



When we type at the A6 ASIN function as =ASIN(A1) we will get the the sine of the angle that we wanted to find and that is (-1,570796327). For A2 we will get 0,411516846. Like in ACOS and ACOSH function you can’t use ASIN at the range of cells like =ASIN(A1:A4) or =ASIN(A1,A3) but you can use it at the false range like =ASIN(A3:A3).
