AVERAGE function

This one of the ‘famous’ Excel’s function return the average value of all values in range of cells. It can be called ‘middle value’ of the data set as well. AVERAGE function can be used at one cell or range of cells that’s why it’s called an to Array Formula. Look at the example below. AVERAGE function Exercises1. Type different values from A1 to A10. Use AVERAGE function art B6 =AVERAGE(A1:A10). Use AVERAGE function on single cell, for example A4 =AVERAGE(A4) as you can image it has to return the same value that is in A4 cell. 2. Work at the database from exercise 1. Delete some cells (for example A2, A4 and A9) from range and use AVERAGE for the same range of cells =AVERAGE(A1:A10) Use RAND function to create array in cells from A1 to C10.
